BOOKING AND CANCELLATIONS POLICY
When you book a holiday, accommodation or trek
with us, we spend a lot of time and effort in trying to ensure
that we meet your specific requirements. These often include exclusivity
- riding or staying just with your own group. Taking your booking
means that we may not take others at the same time. So in order
to secure your place we hope that you will understand why we require
a booking deposit or advance payment.
BOOKING DEPOSITS
1. We require a 25% advance booking deposit per
person on the total cost of all holidays, accommodation, and/or
treks where the value per individual is €500 or less.
2. We require a 20% advance booking deposit per
person on all holidays, accommodation, and/or treks where the
value per individual is over €500.
3. Booking deposits are NON REFUNDABLE unless
you cancel at least six weeks in advance of your booking during
peak periods(1st April - 30th September and 20th Dec - 15th Jan)
or at least four weeks in advance off-peak (October - March excluding
20th Dec - 15th Jan). Refunds are subject to a 20% administration
fee.
4. We cannot refund for last-minute cancellations
under any circumstances.
ADVANCE PAYMENTS
1. Advance payments are refundable (less a 10%
administration fee) if you cancel at least six weeks in advance
of your booking during peak periods(1st April - 30th September
and 20th Dec - 15th Jan) or at least four weeks in advance off-peak
(October - March excluding 20th Dec - 15th Jan).
2. If you give us more than two week's notice
but less than six weeks (peak periods) or four weeks (off-peak),
we will refund you 75% of your payment (less a 10% administration
fee).
3. No refunds are possible if you cancel two weeks
or less before your arrival date.
RE-SCHEDULING
1. As a gesture of good will, and at our discretion,
we may off-set your booking deposit (less 20% admin fee)or advance
payment (less 10% administration fee) against a re-scheduled booking
within one month of your original booking.
2. We reserve the right to re-schedule your booking
in the event that adverse weather conditions make it unsafe to
drive within a 10km radius of our premises, or to horse-ride.
Under these circumstances, re-scheduled horse-riding bookings
must be taken within one week of conditions improving, re-scheduled
accommodation/riding holiday bookings must be taken within one
month of conditions improving.
3. We strongly recommed that you take out your
own insurance to cover you in the event of losses caused by accident,
illness, inclement weather or travel problems.
