Welcome to Tipperary Mountain Trekking Centre.
 |
We specialise in Horse Riding Lessons,Horse Riding Treks,
Horse Riding Holidays and Residential and Non-Residential
Summer Camps for children who want to immerse themselves in
the horsey lifestyle. We also cater for large groups like
School Tours and Riding Clubs on a non-residential basis.
Livery facilities are available for customers who would like
a weekend break in the country with their horse.
Non-riders can enjoy the fabulous hill and river walks on
site, and we can provide fun and games for non-riding children.

Our riding facilities are annually inspected and approved
by the Association of Irish Riding Establishments (AIRE).
They include:
• An all-weather sand arena
• A show-jumping area
• Extensive off-road treks and trails for up to seven
hours long, over hundreds of unspoiled acres of mountain pastures.

We use intelligent
horsemanship techniques in the care and management of
both horses and riders.
Our teaching techniques incorporate student-centred learning,
as well as human and equine behavioural psychology. We are
dedicated to helping our riders understand how to communicate
sensitively with horses so that they can interact and ride
happily, confidently and effectively.

Accommodation is provided on-site at Rusheen
House.
| We are committed to ethical tourism and our riding
holidays are approved by Responsible
Travel. We provide farmhouse accommodation and either B&B
or full-board catering for people who want to stay with us.
We use local and organic produce and all meals are meat-free.
While our menu includes dairy produce, free-range eggs, seafood
and fish, we are happy to cater for guests with other meat-free
dietary requirements. |
